On a quest to find a classic wooden sloop, known as an R-Boat, ACE was unearthed in the backyard of a sailor in Newport Beach, CA. ACE had been sitting idle, awaiting her turn for a refit. The local sailor had the vision, but not the time. Luckily he was willing to let ACE go, before there was nothing left.
